• Klaus Biehn, one of the palatinum photographers, lost his battle with the slack line at THE ROCK in Karlsruhe.
  Result: he is grounded by a snapped ligament for some time.
• Peter Daum suffers from a torn ligament, too. His accident happended in the boulder cave of THE ROCK. Get well soon!
• „The monsun makes everything better?“ Bullshit!
  The monsun-like rain of the last days flushed climbers off Trifels. Only the blower of Garlic-Hanne, followed by her tasty dishes helped them to survive.

• Author Frank Rothe spent more than two years on investigation. The resulting book "Extremsport Professionell" is an impressive collection of case studies of real pioneers of the scene, not TV-starlets.

• With „Le doigt du plus for“, Loic Fossard climbed another 8b+ combination in Kronthal. Le doigt starts in Abjection 8b and exit through Carmina Burana, 8a.
  Pierre Bollinger managed the first repetition.
• In addition, Pierre invented a new combination. „L'arquée type du mal” is said to check in at 8c+/9a. If the rating is realistic, it would be the toughest sandstone route besiides „Mekka Direct“ 8c+ in the Alsace/Pfalz area.
• Jean Marc Winkel did „Mad Max“ 8a and „le chien engage” 7c+.
• Benjamin Habsiger iterated„Orange amer” 8a in Kronthal.
• Pfalz native Johannes Arbogast scored the classic „Brombeerzeit“, 8a in Saverne.
