• Cool moves at Kletterarea Heilbronn on last Saturday! More than 120 male and female boulderers tried hard to decrypt the 25 dodgy problems.

Boulder freaks of all ages between 8 and 47 found pretty tough and quite doable boulders amongst the creations of route designers Damaris, Raimund, Nick, Micha, Sebastian, Thilo, Karsten .... who were more than satisfied with their work.

• In June 2005, two climbers from Baden-Würtemberg ascended the south wall of Asselstein depsite a partial spuspension. The climb demonstrably upset the nesting peregrine falcons and their squabs.
  Peregrine falcons are threatened with extinction and protected by special law. According to §42 para.1 sec.3 of Bundesnaturschutzgesetz, it is illegal to disturb these birds by haunting, photographing, filming, etc. (incl. sports climbing).
  The Landau police station secured the names of the climbers and initiated summery proceedings with Kreisverwaltung Südliche Weinstraße.The administrative fine can be as high as 10.000,- Euro. In this case, the local court in Landau imposed a fine of 250,- Euro each.
